Chainsaw used for 20 mins :-)

Probably need a new blade as quicker (but less fun) to use a handsaw.

The "wanted" list is probably complete, wheelbarrow being donated and possibly a rake too!

Hoping to get down next week as no chance this weekend, praying for good weather next week.

I nearly said yesterday, that it was a bargain at that price, but does it come with the sharpening kit.... and the instructions?

You need to sharpen the individual links with a special file, and oil the chain. Both on a fairly frequent basis. And although I've never done it myself, Woodland work is the family blood , so I know that there is a distinct right and wrong way to do it....You could try asking at your local tool hire shop perhaps.

A properly sharpened chain cuts like a hot knife through butter, but a blunt one is hard work, and is more dangerous as it's much more inclined to stick and jump, and is probably better used as an axe!

Sound advice! Came with instructions, oil and blade oil. Was thinking about calling a local hire place tomorrow, think I will now! Thanks for the advice!

Would really like it to work well and save a lot of time and effort.
